Description: Located on the Pemaquid peninsula in mid-coast Maine, Pemaquid Marine is a full service boatyard offering new construction in both wood and fiberglass, including our signature boat, The Banks Cove 22. The Banks Cove 22 is available in three different models: Downeast Lobster Cabin, Center Console and Day Boat. These boats are exceptionally seaworthy with their modified v-bottom. They are built to order and finished to the owner’s specifications. This year Pemaquid Marine will be showing their Day Boat model, launched in the fall 2012. Powered by a fuel effiecient Evinrude E-Tec, she cruises at 26 knots and tops out at 40. In addition to new construction, other services offered at the yard include repair and maintenance, restoration, engine and mechanical systems work, Awlgrip, brightwork, indoor/outdoor storage for boats up to 50 feet, and mooring rentals.
June 16 2022 Update: With heavy hearts, Phin and I have concluded that we are overwhelmed by the continuing impediments that confront a successful effort and are resigned to join the numerous other efforts that have thrown their hands up. For this reason, the 2022 Maine Boatbuilders Show is officially cancelled.
