Description: Elco 36' Express, Hull No 1402 is recorded as being delivered to F.A. Shick, Comptroller of the Bethlehem Steel Company, on the 23rd of August 1916 at Cape Vincent N.Y. Mr Shick summered for a number of years at his cottage on nearby Carleton Island. The boat's subsequent history is unknown. She was found stored in the drive-in basement garage of a house near Cranberry Lake, NY in the '70s by boatbuilder. Everett Smith and eventrually found her way to a barn near Lake Winnipesaukee where, after providing a home for generations of Racoons, I was introduced to her in 2008. Since 2010 she has been in Rich Woodman's Shop undergoing restoration.
